Australia beat India by 9 wickets in third test in Indore

INDORE: The third test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy ended on the third day itself. Today, India itself fell for the pitch built to knock Australia down in spin bowling. Within an hour since the start of the game, Australia easily crossed 76 runs required to win. With this, the score of the four-match series became 2-1.

The match was played for just 19 overs on the third day. Batting in ODI style, Travis Head (49 not out from 53 balls) and Labuschagne (28 from 58 balls) teamed up to seal an easy win. With this, the Aussies secured the final spot in the World Test Championship.

In response to Australia being all out for 197 runs on the second day earlier, India started the second innings and were all out for 163 runs. Only Pujara, who scored 58 runs, got a decent score for India. Nathan Lyon took eight wickets for Australia.
