INDORE: Indian captain Rohit Sharma has answered questions about India-Australia 3rd Test ending on the third day. Rohit commented that the matches do not last for five days not only in India but also in foreign countries. Indian captain said that the players have to perform very well for the five-day tournament.
Pointing out that the previous South Africa-West Indies match ended in three days, Rohit also said that the last three Tests in Pakistan lasted for five days and the spectators were bored. Rohit Sharma also commented that even though the match was over in three days in India, the people were excited.
“We failed because we didn’t bat straight in the first innings in the indoor Test. We have to execute what we have planned on the ground and play bold.”, he said. Rohit Sharma told the media that in the next test, they will prepare to win the game by using the strategies that helped them to win the first two Tests. In the third test, Rohit scored just 24 runs in two innings. Chasing a target of 76 runs, Australia lost the first wicket easily but then Travis Head (49) and Labuschagne (28) teamed up to take them to victory.
