Malayali meets tragic end in Riyadh; car accident happened when he came down to check his vehicle

RIYADH: A Malayali dies in Saudi Arabia from being hit by a car. Sulaiman Kunj (61) of Niaz Manzil, a native of Avaneeswaram, Kollam, Pathanapuram, met with the accident when he came out to check his damaged vehicle. The accident took place at Riyadh Exit 18 on Tuesday around 9.30 pm.

He was working as a transporter and was driving a mini truck with cold storage facility. While traveling with this, something went wrong and the vehicle came to a stop on the road. The accident occurred when a car coming from behind hit him, while he was checking the vehicle to find out what happened. Sulaiman died on the spot. The police arrived and shifted the body to Shumaisi King Saud hospital.

Suleman, who was an expatriate in Riyadh for 30 years, last visited his home three months ago. The process of bringing the dead body to the country has started. His father is the late Maideen Kunj and mother is Mutubeevi, Wife: Jamila Beevi, Children: Niaz, Nazila, and Nazmid(late). Son-in-law: Sharafuddin
