Man beats brother to death for assaulting family in Wayanad

KALPETTA: A youth was beaten to death by his brother for trying to assault their family members under the influence of alcohol. The incident happened last night at Valad in Wayanad. The dead is Jayachandran of Valad. His brother Ramakrishnan have been taken into custody.

Ramakrishnan tried to prevent his brother Jayachandran from attacking their family. A verbal dispute broke out between the two and in a fit of rage Ramakrishnan beat his brother with a bamboo stick. Jayachandran, who sustained injuries on his head and neck was rushed to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.
