THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister Saji Cherian said an investigation will be conducted if given information of actors using drugs. It is not enough to simply say using drugs. The details and names should be given if they are clear about it. If provided information, the matter will be brought to the attention of the chief minister and the government will examine it, the minister said.

Two actors were banned after repeated complaints of bad behavior on film sets. Let the ban stay, added the minister.

The film organizations banned actors Shane Nigam and Sreenath Bhasi. They were banned for unnecessarily interfering and for misbehaving in the film industry. Producers’ association president Renjith said Shane Nigam is interfering in the film unnecessarily. He even demands to see the edited movie to make sure his character is given importance. The actors never arrive at shooting locations on time.

Sreenath Bhasi does not know how many films he is acting at a time or how many offers he has accepted. They refuse to sign the agreement. A decision has been taken to report the names of the actors who come to the sets after taking drugs, to the government.
