KSRTC SWIFT bus carrying 34 passengers including infant meets with accident in Thodupuzha, rams into house

THODUPUZHA: A KSRTC SWIFT bus, which was conducting service from Thiruvananthapuram to Kattappana, lost control and rammed into a house at a bend in Nellappara. Fortunately, those inside the bus and the man sleeping at home escaped unhurt. The accident took place while the bus was coming from Pala to Thodupuzha.

The driver lost control of the bus as the bus reached Nellappara bend. Following this, the bus rammed into an advertisement board and a house behind it. There were 34 passengers on the bus.

The bus rammed into the house of Nellappara native Mani Gopi. The wall and thatched roof of the house have been damaged. The front of the bus was completely destroyed. The police reached the spot soon after the incident.
