SI attempts to molest woman; Beaten up, stripped and tied to pole by locals 

AGRA: An SI who attempted to molest a woman by breaking into her home was beaten up, stripped naked and tied to a pole by locals. The incident took place in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

After he broke into the woman's house, the villagers stripped the policeman and tied him to a pole. After that, the footage of the thrashing was circulated on social media. Immediately after learning about the incident, the Agra Police Commissioner suspended the officer and started a departmental inquiry. Furthermore, based on the woman's complaint, a case of rape was registered against the SI. However SI Sandeep Kumar has denied all the allegations against him.

Sandeep said that he reached the woman's house as part of the investigation and was later attacked by the villagers. The investigation into the incident is in progress.
