Woman killed by second husband for concealing first marriage, children

CHENNAI: A woman was killed by her second husband following an argument that broke out after he found that she had concealed her first marriage. The deceased is 25-year-old Sharammal. Avadi native Johnson (27) surrendered to the police in the case.

Sharammal and Johnson got married last May. Sharammal met Johnson while she was living separated from her first husband. They eventually fell in love. However, Sharammal had not told Johnson about her first marriage and children.

Johnson learned about Sharammal's first marriage after the wedding. Following this, he moved to another house. Johnson committed the murder when Sharammal came to this house and attempted to continue the relationship again. He then kept the body in a sack for three days at home. He later went to the police station and surrendered after the stench started coming out.
