Four-year-old boy dies after falling into pot containing boiling milk

GWALIOR: A four-year-old boy died after he fell into a pot of boiling milk. The incident took place on October 4 in Badonkalan village in Gwalior. Dev Ahirwar, who suffered burns, succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday after fighting for his life for three weeks.

Surendra Ahirwar, an eyewitness, said that the child was playing in front of the house when he accidentally slipped and fell into the vessel containing boiling milk. The child, who suffered more than 80 percent burns on his body, had been admitted to JAH Hospital in Gwalior. He succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday afternoon. The police have initiated a detailed investigation into the case.
