Hissing sounds on couch, finds 5-metre-long cobra in sofa

KOTA: A 5-metre-long cobra was found in the sofa of a drawing room. The cobra was found in the house of Babulal Marandi at Kota in Rajasthan. The snake was caught after hours of effort.

The snake was caught from the sofa where the family regularly sits. Marandi, who was sitting in the sofa, heard a hissing sound. He didn’t care first, but after hearing the voice again, he became suspicious. He decided to check the sofa but could not find anything. However, the sound was heard continuously. When examined again, he noticed the snake.

When checked after removing the cloth of the sofa, saw the cobra hiding. Marandi tried to pull out the snake even though he was afraid. He later called the local snake catcher Govind Sharma. He worked for about an hour and the snake was caught and was released into the forest. It is believed that the cobra entered through the tear behind the sofa.
