The cobra babies hatched are in good health and vigor. Jishnu got the eggs when he went to catch a cobra from a house in Valapattanam. After catching the cobra and handing it over to the forest department, he found 14 eggs from the premises in a search conducted. The eggs were brought home for hatching with the permission of the forest department.

The eggs were hatched in a plastic drum in a warm and cool environment. The eggs were hatched by filling the drum with soil and sprinkling wood dust on top to prepare the environment near the burrow. All the eggs hatched and the baby snakes came out. As per the instructions of the forest department, they will be released into their natural habitat.
