Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan teaming up for gangster film after 36 years, title announcement video out

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and director Mani Ratnam have announced the title of the film that will reunite them after 36 years. The film titled 'Thug Life' is tipped to be an action-packed gangster film. The title of the film was released along with a three-minute-long announcement video. Trisha, Jayam Ravi and Dulquer Salmaan will also be a part of the film along with Kamal Haasan.

Kamal appears in the video as Rangaraya Sakthivel Naicker. AR Rahman's background music along with the action scenes gives the fans an amazing experience in the video. It is also special that the name of the film was announced on the eve of Kamal Haasan's birthday.

A.R. Rahman is the music director. Ravi K. Chandran is handling the cinematography and Sreekar Prasad is doing the editing. Action choreography in Thug Life is handled by the Anpariv brothers who have choreographed the action scenes for Kamal in Vikram. The film features production designer Sharmishta Roy and costume designer Eka Lakhani. The film is produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R Mahendran and Siva Ananth under the banner of Raj Kamal International, Madras Talkies and Red Giant Movies.
