KOZHIKODE: SFI State Secretary P M Arsho was forcefully removed from the protesting site at Calicut University by police officers on Saturday. After the protest march led by Arsho and state president Anushree turned violent, the police entered the fray and cleared up the site by arresting many SFI leaders.
“ Are you governor’s boot-licker? Who the hell are you to touch me like that? “ this was Arsho’s response to police officials who tried to remove him from the protest site. However, amidst this harsh diatribe from Arsho, senior police officers tried to talk a truce with the SFI state secretary, asking him to come along with them in an amicable way.
“ Please come Arsho.. I will take care of everything, please come” one senior police officer was heard saying.
The SFI workers protested against the Governor with black flags and 'Go Back' slogans. The Governor is coming to Kozhikode to participate in an event at the University of Calicut. The Governor will stay in the VVIP guest house on the campus.
