Thief caught red-handed while attempting to snatch mobile of train passenger; kept hanging outside moving train for one kilometre, video

PATNA: A youth who tried to snatch the mobile phone of a train passenger through the window of a train was left hanging outside the moving train for around 1 kilometre. A video of the incident is currently going viral on social media. The video shows the youth hanging from the moving train after the train passengers held him by his hand. The incident took place near Bhagalpur in Bihar.

The snatching of mobile phones through the window of trains is a common incident in Bihar. Upon noticing the thief attempting to snatch a mobile phone through the window, one of the passengers in the compartment quickly grabbed the thief's arm. Following this, other passengers too joined him and held the thief by his arm. Although the snatcher tried to break free, he was unable to escape as the train had already started moving. Meanwhile, other passengers on the train recorded the incident on their phones. The accused has been identified as Bhagalpur native Kalesh. The video also shows two others approaching the train to help the accused.
