Theatre owner dies after falling from building

MUKKAM: A theatre owner met a tragic end after falling from a building under construction. Mukkam Mutheri native KO Joseph (75) died after falling from a building in Changaramkulam, Malappuram. He is the owner of theatres such as Abhilash and Anna in Mukkam, Rose and Little Rose in Agastianmuzhi, and ARC Coronation in Kozhikode.

The accident happened on Tuesday night at around nine o'clock. The accident occurred while Joseph was returning from Kochi after attending a meeting of the theatre owners' association (Film Exhibitors United Kerala).

He accidentally fell from the first floor of the building while talking. Although he was rushed to a private hospital in Changaramkulam and then to a private hospital in Thrissur, he could not be saved. The funeral will take place today at 2.30 pm at the Kallurutty Cemetery of the Sacred Heart Church, Mukkam.
