Malayali woman killed in accident in Coimbatore

VADANAPPALLY: A Malayali woman hailing from Vadanappally was killed in a vehicle accident that took place in Coimbatore. The deceased has been identified as Manisha (24), the daughter of Vadanappally native Manikandan and Bindu. Manisha had been working at a beauty parlour in Coimbatore.

The accident took place on Tuesday night when Manisha was travelling to her residence on a scooter with her colleague after work. Manisha died on the spot. The colleague, who sustained serious injuries, is undergoing treatment at the hospital. Manisha normally travels home in an autorickshaw after work. But on Tuesday, she travelled home on a scooter.

Manisha had contacted her mother's sister Beena Shelley over the phone just before the accident. Her relatives have reached Coimbatore after hearing about the accident. Brother: Binu. The funeral will be held on Thursday morning at 8 am in Naduvilkara.
