Girl breaks down in tears during school counselling; three teens arrested from Munnar

IDUKKI: In a strange case, police arrested some youngsters who sexually molested a minor girl in Munnar’s Poopara. It was revealed that the 14-year-old girl was brutally molested by four youngsters. Ram Kumar, Vignesh and Jayson, natives of Poopara, were arrested in the case. The police said that one more suspect, a native of Tamil Nadu, is about to be arrested.

It was during the counselling held at the school that the girl revealed the gruesome episode. The girl while attending the counselling broke down in tears and explained the atrocities she had to endure. The girl revealed that four people had been torturing her for more than a year. She said that the accused took her to different places in Idukki and then sexually molested her.
