Online friend rapes minor girl in first meeting, dumps her near Delhi metro station

NEW DELHI: A minor girl was sexually molested by her online friend near the Dabri metro station in the Sagarpur area of New Delhi on Wednesday. The police informed that the girl was brutally beaten by the accused after the rape. The accused is also a minor and is currently in police custody.

The accused met the girl online and started texting her which eventually bloomed into a strong friendship. Both of them decided to meet in person for the first time, but little did the victim imagine that the rendezvous would go this awry. Shockingly, the accused was nonchalant while he tried to sexually molest her and also started beating her after she showed signs of resistance.

One of the neighbours saw the girl lying unconscious on the roadside and took her to the hospital. After this, according to the information given by the girl, the family members were called and informed about the matter.

The girl revealed to the family that she decided to meet the accused while on her way to the coaching centre where she is a student. Based on this, the family approached the police with a complaint.
