'Modi is like a big brother'; Telangana CM Revanth Reddy heaps praises on Prime Minister and Gujarat

NEW DELHI: Congress leader and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Monday heaped praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Revanth, who said that Narendra Modi was like a big brother, also praised the Gujarat model of development. He said that if Telangana wants to develop, it should follow the example of Gujarat.

Revanth opined that states cannot develop without the support of the Centre. Revanth added that Telangana will also be at the forefront of working towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream of turning India into a five trillion dollar economy.

Revanth said that Hyderabad and Telangana will help the Centre in the development activities of the country. He also requested funds from the central government for the metro project. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister is currently visiting Telangana as part of the Lok Sabha election campaign.

The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for 30 projects worth Rs 56,000 crore in the state. After inaugurating the projects in Adilabad, the Prime Minister said that his family comprises 140 crore Indians.
