27-year-old woman dies as KSRTC bus runs over her in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: A 27-year-old woman died after she was run over by a KSRTC bus in Palakkad. The deceased has been identified as Shameema (27), the wife of Pattambi Perumudiyoor native Shaheel.

Shameema was crossing the Pattambi-Guruvayur road when the KSRTC bus coming from the Kootanad side hit her. The bus then ran over her. Although Shameema was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Vaniyamkulam, her life could not be saved.
