Telugu superstar and Jana Sena Party President Pawan Kalyan's latest film Ustad Bhagat Singh has sparked a new row following the release of its teaser. A scene from the movie's teaser has hinted at political promotion, thereby bringing it under the radar of the Election Commission.

In the teaser, after a goon breaks a glass, Pawan Kalyan gets angry. He then picks a piece of tea glass and says, “The glass does not represent our size, it represents our army. An invisible army".

Glass is also the symbol of Jana Sena Party.

Those in the opposition party alleged that releasing such a teaser during the election would influence the people. They also say that the actor's performance of holding up the broken glass falls under the category of election campaigning. At the same time, Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena clarified that holding up the glass for advertisement is considered as political advertisement. “Holding up a tea glass for advertisement would be considered a political advertisement. You can do political ads like this. There is no restriction on that. However, prior approval is required for such advertisements," he said.

Ustad Bhagat Singh is a film written and directed by Harish Shankar. It is a remake of Tamil superhit film Theri. Sreeleela is the female lead of the movie. The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
