Suresh Gopi files nomination papers at sharp 12

THRISSUR: Suresh Gopi, the NDA candidate of Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency, filed his nomination papers before the returning officer and Collector V R Krishna Teja. Suresh Gopi, accompanied by his workers, filed his nominations at sharp 12.

After shaking hands with the collector and greeting him, he kept the nomination papers close to his chest and prayed. He left after completing all the procedures.
As the filing of papers for the Lok Sabha elections in the state is to be completed today, apart from Suresh Gopi, some other prominent people have also filed their nominations today.

UDF candidate Hibi Eden of Ernakulam constituency, LDF candidate A M Arif of Alappuzha constituency, UDF candidate advocate K Francis George of Kottayam constituency,
UDF candidate K Muraleedharan of Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency, UDF candidate K C Venugopal of Alappuzha Lok Sabha constituency and others have submitted their nomination papers to their respective centres today. The time for submitting the nomination papers is till 3 pm today. Scrutiny will be on April 5.
