THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The final voter list for polling has been released. There are a total of 2,77,49,159 voters. 2,01,417 people were eliminated in the purge, while 6,49,000 voters were newly added to the list. The number of 18-19-year-old girl voters is 5,34,394. The additions and omissions were made in the list published on January 22. Those who could not add their names were given an opportunity to submit their applications until March 25.
Out of the total voters, 1,43,33,499 are women and 1,34,15,293 are men, marking an increase of 3,36,770 female voters and 3,13,005 male voters. The total heterosexual voters amount to 3,67,000 with a female-to-male ratio of 1,000:1,068.
Malappuram district has the highest number of voters (33,93,884), while Wayanad has the lowest number of voters (6,35,930). Malappuram district also has the highest number of women voters (16,97,132) and Thiruvananthapuram district has the highest number of transgender voters (94). The total number of non-resident voters is 89,839 with Kozhikode district having the highest number of non-resident voters (35,793). There are 6,27,045 voters above the age of 80 years.
