'May all your aspirations be fulfilled in this year': Modi and Amit Shah with Vishu wishes in Malayalam

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah with Vishu wishes in Malayalam. Both of them wished Malayalis through the social media platform X.

'Praying for an excellent year ahead, marked by success, happiness and wonderful health. May all your aspirations be fulfilled in this year.'- Modi wrote in X.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has also wished Happy Vishu. He posted on Facebook that let these Vishu celebrations be a step towards building a new world where brotherhood and equality will dawn.

Vishu is a celebration and symbol of our rich agricultural heritage. At the core of Vishu celebrations are hopes for a prosperous and fulfilling future. What sets it apart from other festivals is that it places the farmer and agriculture at the centre of social life. Let this year's Vishu be a reminder to reclaim and enrich our agricultural culture.

Ancestors see Vishu as a time of equality. It will inspire to uplift the equality of human minds irrespective of caste and religion.

The reactionary forces are going ahead with secret plans to create communal division in our country where people of different castes and religions live in harmony. We need to be careful to recognize and prevent this danger. Mythology also sees Vishu as the victory of light over darkness.
