Brought extremely rare drug substances along with MDMA to attract customers; youth arrested

THRISSUR: A massive drug bust has taken place in Kuthiran. Drugs including MDMA weighing 42 grams were seized by Thrissur City Anti-Narcotics Squad and Peechi Police. Poothole native Vishnu (28) was taken into custody.

Police and the Anti-Narcotics Squad conducted extensive searches in Kuthiran and nearby places following complaints that many, including students, were using drugs in Mannuthi and Peechi areas. During the interrogation, Vishnu admitted that he had brought drugs from Bengaluru in a similar manner before and sold them.

According to the police, the accused even brought extremely rare drug substances along with MDMA to attract new customers. Peechi SI Ameer Ali V, District anti-narcotics squad SI Suvrathakumar NG, ASI Jeevan TV, CPO Likesh MS, Vipin, Peechi station policemen Phrinson PF, Mahesh CS, Manas, Sanal OB and highway police carried out the drug bust.
