Malayali dies of sunstroke during Himalayan journey

KOCHI: A native of Perumbavoor died of sunstroke amidst Himalayan tour. He has been identified as Unnikrishnan (58) of Anjanam House in Perumbavoor. The incident happened at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. Unnikrishnan left Perumbavoor a week ago for the Himalayan journey.


The body is now kept at a hospital in Prayagraj. Relatives and the members of Malayalee Samajam of Allahabad are trying to complete the procedures and bring the body home.
