Centre directs Pune police to investigate marriage of controversial IAS officer Pooja Khedkar's parents

PUNE: The Centre has directed the Pune police to conduct an investigation into the marriage of controversial IAS officer Pooja Khedkar's parents. The Pune police have been directed by the central government to find out if Pooja's parents, Manorama and Dileep, were divorced. If Pooja's parents were divorced, a detailed investigation should be conducted regarding it. Pooja's mother Manorama Khedkar was arrested in the case of threatening farmers at gunpoint. There is also a case against Dileep.

It was found that Pooja passed the civil service exam by cheating by showing fake certificates and giving wrong information. Then the UPSC started the process of canceling Pooja's IAS. Delhi Police registered a case against Pooja. The case was registered on the complaint filed by UPSC for forgery. A case has been registered against Pooja on charges of fraud and forgery for cheating in the examination application and for producing a certificate of visually impaired. According to the IT Act, there is a case against Pooja. If the allegations are proved true, Pooja's IAS will be cancelled.

Pooja's MBBS studies are also in doubt. It was found that Pooja studied MBBS in scheduled tribe reservation seat. Delhi Crime Branch has started an investigation into the incident.
