Actor Bala has got married for the fourth time. The actor tied the knot with his murappennu Kokila this morning at Pavakkulam Sree Mahadeva Temple in Ernakulam. Speaking to the media after the wedding, Bala revealed that Kokila had been in love with him for several years.
"I’ve known Kokila for many years. She was the one who hid the fact that she liked me. She kept it a secret that she liked me and wanted to marry me. It’s a big love story. She used to write diary since childhood. I agreed to marry her after reading it. This is a new beginning," Bala said.
"The bride is my relative. Her name is Kokila. Those who wish to bless us may do so. Kokila doesn't know Malayalam. For the past year, I’ve had significant changes in my health. Kokila has been with me through that time. After my liver transplant, I felt I needed a partner. Since she is my relative, I am very confident that I can move forward in life in a good way. There is peace in my life," said Bala while introducing his bride shortly after the wedding.
There were reports that Bala was first married to Chandana Sagasiva. However, Bala had never revealed about his first marriage. Bala got married to a Malayalee singer in 2010. After his divorce from the singer, he married Dr Elizabeth Udayan but that relationship was not legally registered. The two were together only for a few months.
