KOCHI: The statement of the GCDA officials will be recorded by the police in the case of Thrikkakara MLA Uma Thomas getting seriously injured after falling from the temporary stage set up for the mega dance show. The statements of suspended site engineer SS Usha and Assistant Engineer Varghese in charge of the stadium will be taken today or tomorrow. This is in a situation where a lapse was found in the construction of the stage at the Kaloor Stadium.
The police will seek information from the Guinness Book authorities about the Mridanga Naadam mega dance evening organized by Wayanad-centred Mridanga Vision in Kaloor. The police will send a letter requesting the handover of the contract documents signed by the organizers with Guinness. The move is in the case related to financial exploitation. The investigation into the financial dealings of Mridanga Vision is also in progress. The magazine was started three years ago with the name Mridanga Vision. Their bank accounts have been frozen by the police.

Mridanga Vision chief Nighosh's statement is that he paid 900 rupees as a tip to dance teachers for each dancer they delivered. 2,900 was charged from each of them.
