THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Minister Suresh Gopi expressed confidence in Rajeev Chandrasekhar's ability to handle the responsibilities of Kerala BJP's state president. Speaking at the party's state representative conference, Gopi congratulated Chandrasekhar and emphasized that the role is not an overwhelming challenge for him. He also said that under Rajeev's leadership, the BJP is going to take the entire Kerala for Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
"While many have suggested that the position of party president is a heavy responsibility for Rajeev, I don't share that view. I am well aware of Rajeev's skills and capabilities. This is a task he can handle with ease. We have witnessed his success at various stages," Suresh Gopi stated.
Gopi also remarked on the recent evaluation of the BJP's progress during a state conference. "There were concerns that a theoretical shift might occur, prompting a critical assessment with that fear in mind. The moment Rajeev Chandrasekhar took over from K. Surendran, it marked the beginning of an ideological transformation within the party. The true challenge will come if our opponents understand and react to this shift," he added.
