TIRUNELVELI: Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam chief Joseph Vijay made a scathing attack on the DMK, alleging the ruling party of attempting all possible tricks to destroy his political career. In the rally attended by lakhs in Tirunelveli, Vijay tacitly mentioned his divorce news and warned that DMK would come again with new moves to deter him.
VIJAY:
“They wanted to delay the release of Jananayagan. You people know who they are. They thought Vijay would be badly affected if such a film got a late release. When the plan flopped, they came up with a set of rules exclusive to Vijay. This flopped, too. The next thing in their sleeve was to use the service of people who were with me. And that too just 30 days before the elections. I don’t even have to mention it. You know what I am talking about.
Whatever allegation and trick they came up with, the people of Tamil Nadu stood by me. They are free to bring more allegations and cases against me; nothing is going to affect me. I have my people with me."
