11-month-old baby killed in car-pickup van collision

MALAYINKEEZHU: A 11-month-old baby was killed in a car-pickup van collision in Thiruvananthapuram. The deceased has been identified as Priyansh Rajesh, son of Karakulam native SP Rajesh. The accident took place near Maadanpara on the Kollamkonam-Puliarakkonam road last Monday afternoon. Rajesh and his family members were returning home in a car when the accident took place. Rajesh's wife Dr Preeja and daughter Prajeesha suffered injuries.

Though Priyansh was rushed to a private hospital in the city, his life could not be saved. According to the locals, the pickup wan was travelling at a high speed. The front of the car was completely destroyed.
