School reopening: All necessary arrangements should be done by October 27, says Minister Sivankutty

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Education Minister V SIvankutty has directed school headmasters and principals to ensure that all arrangements regarding the school reopening are completed by October 27. Schools in the state will reopen on November 1 with a Praveshanolsavam ceremony.

The report should be submitted to the district administration through the AEO and DEO. Teachers should be assigned the task of each class. The arrangements should be evaluated at a PTA meeting to be attended by representatives of local bodies on the 27th. Schools should be thoroughly cleaned.


Other facilities such as sanitisers, thermal scanner-oximeter, mid-day meal- cooking and distribution, homoeopathic medicines for children, doctor's services, helpline facilities and fitness certificates of schools must be ensured.
