Congress activists smash actor Joju George’s vehicle in Kochi during protests staged against fuel price, dramatic scenes witnessed

ERNAKULAM: Some dramatic scenes were witnessed in the Edapally-Vyttila highway in Ernakulam during protests staged by Congress against the rise of fuel prices. Youth Congress activists smashed actor Joju George's vehicle for his outrage against their strike blocking Edapally-Vyttila highway in Ernakulam. The actor was furious after a major traffic halt was witnessed on the highway following the strike. He said protests should not be staged by harassing the people. He came forward against the strike asking whether the price will be reduced if a strike is staged a single day. Others too joined him. A verbal spat broke out between the protestors and the public.

Youth congress activists vandalized his vehicle when the actor was taking moving forward after the police intervened and ended the protest. The activists said the actor was drunk and staging a show. The congress demanded action against the actor.
