Farm laws may be repealed after considering national security, will respond after studying, says Suresh Gopi MP

KOCHI: Suresh Gopi MP said the action of the central government repealing the controversial farm laws could be in the interest of national security. He said further response on the issue would be after studying the Prime Minister's speech clearly.

The Prime Minister announced that the government is repealing the farm laws this morning. The farmers are the backbone of the country and the laws were brought in to help the farmers. All that done was the good of the farmers. However, some farmers were not able to understand it. He apologised to the country and demanded the farmers to end the strike and return.
