ALAPPUZHA: Two more SDPI activists have been taken into custody in the murder case of BJP leader Renjith Sreenivasan. The two in custody are directly involved in the murder. So far, six have been taken into custody in the case.
Two directly involved in the crime, Saifudeen of Valiyamaram who has a role in the conspiracy and Mohammad Badusha, a resident of Punnapra, who arranged a fake SIM card for the accused were arrested earlier.
Renjith Sreenivasan was hacked to death by a 12-member team on December 19 early morning. A search was conducted in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka for the accused.
Renjith was murdered in retaliation to the murder of SDPI leader Shan. Shan was killed on the night of December 18.
