KOTTAYAM: NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair said the apathy from government’s side is the reason for the sharp rise in Covid cases in the state. The government is not willing to postpone exams and close colleges after some turning clusters. The NSS criticized for allowing to conduct the college union polls.
The NSS in a statement issued asserted that colleges should be closed as teachers and students are affected by Covid en masse and that exams should be postponed till the disease is under control. Colleges should be conducted online.
