UDUPI: The students, who filed plea requsting to wear hijab, were not allowed to attend their exams. These are the students who had approached the court seeking permission to wear hijab inside classrooms.

Although the students, who came to appear for the Class XII exams, demanded to wear hijab, the authorities denied permission. The incident took place in Vidyodaya PU College in Udupi. Two students, namely Aliya Assadi and Resham, were unable to write exams.

The students waited for about 45 minutes for getting permission, but to no avail. With this, the students went back from their college.
