67-year-old accused of sexually abusing plus two student held in Malappuram

MALAPPURAM: A 67-year-old man was arrested for sexually abusing a plus two student. Haneef of Tirur in Malappuram took the mentally unstable girl to a hotel and sexually abused her.

He abused her after taking advantage of his connection with the girl’s family. He took the girl in the name of buying clothes for her for Ramzan. He took her to a hotel and abused her. He sent the girl back when she started crying following bleeding.

The family inquired about the matter but she did not say anything. The incident came to light when the girl was subjected for a counselling by the school authorities. The family then lodged a complaint with the police.
