THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Rail Development Corporation Limited (K-Rail) has lashed out at Former Railways chief engineer Alok Kumar Verma by alleging that he was spreading false propaganda against the SilverLine project. Taking it to Facebook, K-Rail stated that Alok Kumar Verma's claim that the SilverLine project was not practical was not correct.
According to Alok Kumar, the NITI Aayog had estimated Rs 1.3 lakh crore to complete the SilverLine project. However, K-Rail said the NITI Aayog had not made any such calculations. K-Rail also said that Alok Kumar Verma had said untrue things while participating in a debate organized by the K-Rail People's Defence Committee.
