THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Malayalam Cine Technicians Association (MACTA) wanted the Justice Hema Committee report to be made public. The report should not be hoarded. It is learned that the report has the names of fifteen celebrities from the film industry. It is the duty of the government to bring these poachers to justice, said MACTA.
The organisation alleged there is nothing wrong if suspected government's intervention in a way protecting the persecutors as a whole. Except the names of the complainants, MACTA Federation demanded the names of the perpetrators and the people mentioned in the Hema Committee report be made public.
The MACTA Federation, the largest organization of workers in the Malayalam film industry, has been involved in all programmes of the government so far. The organization also criticized for excluding the MACTA Federation from the discussion on the Hema Committee report organized by the government after Ranjith became the chairman of the film academy.
