KARACHI: Former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria has said that India is not Pakistan's enemy but it is Pakistanis who instigate people for forced religious conversion. Kaneria made the remarks as a reply to his teammate Shahid Afridi.
Kaneria had alleged that Afridi had tortured him while playing for the Pakistan national team and had asked other teammates to isolate him because of his religious background. In response, Afridi said that Kaneria is a characterless person and that is why he is giving interviews to their enemy country. Kaneria responded to Afridi's statement in a tweet that India was not an enemy country. Kaneria was the only Hindu cricketer to play for the Pakistan team.
'India is not our enemy. Our enemies are those who instigate people in the name of religion. When I raised my voice against forced conversion, I was threatened that my career would be destroyed,' Kaneria tweeted.
India is not our enemy. Our enemies are those who instigate people in the name of religion.

If you consider India as your enemy, then don't ever go to any Indian media channel. @SAfridiOfficial https://t.co/2gssD7RAHe
