Gokulam continues triumph in Women's League, defeats Indian Arrows by El shadai's performance

BHUVANESHWAR: Gokulam Kerala continues to win in the Indian Women's League. Gokulam Kerala defeated Indian Arrows for 2-1 in yesterday's match. Gokulam's comeback was after a goalless draw in the match. Ghana's El shadai Achengpong scored both goals for Gokulam.

The Arrows took the lead through Priyanka in the sixth minute, which was a shick to Gokulam. Priyanka Devi grabbed the kick of the Gokulam goalkeeper's Adithi and hit the ball towards the post. The goalkeeper, who stood misplaced at the post, could not catch the ball. Gokulam played well after conceding a goal. The Gokulam players rushed to the Arrows goal post for a goal. But all efforts were in vain.

Finally, in the 36th minute, El shadai scored a goal. With this, Gokulam regained his rhythm.

Gokulam took an early lead in the second half. El shadai scored the second goal in the 47th minute. Gokulam took control of the match after taking the lead and was advancing to the Arrows post. Gokulam constantly tried to increase the lead but all the advances were thwarted by the Arrows' defense.
