KOCHI: KK Rema MLA, wife of slain RMP leader TP Chandrasekharan, campaigned in support of UDF candidate Uma Thomas in Thrikkakara. Rema joined Uma Thomas in the vehicle campaign that started from Edappally bypass junction.

Rema is the only woman MLA in the Opposition. Rema said the Kerala government was anti-women and that she was sure that Uma would be with her in the assembly to be the voice of women.

She went to the houses in the Melthara colony with Uma Thomas and sought votes. The two visited about fifty houses. UDF leaders said Rema would also attend family meetings today.
