Will win for sure, standing by rival candidate's wife in fake video incident, says Uma Thomas; there is no lack of confidence, says Jo Joseph

KOCHI: UDF candidate Uma Thomas has said that she was sure about her victory in the Thrikkakkara byelection. According to her, those who loved PT Thomas know how the UDF was involved in various matters in the constituency.

"I do respect my rival candidate. I am standing by the rival candidate's wife in the fake video incident. There has been false propaganda against me as well. When the Chief Minister came here, he even celebrated the death of PT Thomas. He is a person who saw PT Thomas's death as an opportunity to increase their strength in the assembly to 100. I know how painful that kind of propaganda can be. That is why I'm standing by Jo Joseph's wife," Uma Thomas said.

Meanwhile, LDF candidate Jo Joseph said that Thrikkakkara will support him. "I am not nervous. I'm going forward peacefully. There is no lack of confidence. However, my weight has indeed reduced by 2 kilos. I am hundred percent sure that I will win. Our campaigning is based on development, not controversy," he said.
