THRISSUR: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) cannot do anything against Rahul Gandhi. The ED was unable to find anything after quizzing Rahul Gandhi, the Mr Clean of Indian Politics, for four days, said Congress leader Padmaja Venugopal. “He is being questioned for the fifth day today. If they question Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s son for 10 minutes, then they will get enough offences to put him in jail,” Padmaja said.

“When the National Herald collapsed financially, it was taken over by a company formed under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Congressmen have no complaints in this. The complainant is Subramanian Swamy, a BJP activist. The complaint was lodged in the name of certain technical and legal issues. However, the ED had acquitted Sonia and Rahul in 2016 and submitted a report. Now, the Modi government is weaponizing the case to destroy the Congress.

The company, formulated under the leadership of Sonia and Rahul, comes under the ‘not for profit’ category. The company owners cannot acquire profit from it. That is, Sonia and Rahul had then taken up a big burden for the party.

The BJP and Narendra Modi are afraid of Sonia and Priyanka, who are courageously fighting against Modi’s misgovernance. The Congress will jointly face the vengeful political manhunt launched by Modi and his allies”, she said.
