KOCHI: A DYFI leader has been arrested in the case of setting on fire a flag. Mahin, DYFI Ernakulam regional secretary was arrested. He was arrested for setting on fire a flag in front of the DCC office in Ernakulam.
The incident happened on the same day the youth congress activists protested against the chief minister on the aircraft. The DYFI had staged a protest in front of the Ernakulam DCC office over the incident. A complaint was lodged for setting on fire the flag in front of the DCC office at midnight. The action was on the complaint filed by DCC president Mohammad Shias.
He was arrested secretly. His arrest was recorded and was produced before a judge. He was remanded this morning.
