KOLLAM: Kerala Forest Development Corporation Chairperson Lathika Subhash has been directed to repay Rs 97,140 for allegedly going on a private trip in an official vehicle. The direction was given by corporation managing director Prakriti Srivastava. According to reports, the differences of opinion between the duo sparked the latest controversy.
It has been found that the chairperson used an official car KL05 AE 9173 for personal purposes. As per the letter given by the managing director, Lathika Subhash had travelled 7,354 kilometres from January 1 till April 30 in the official car. She has been directed to pay Rs 97,140 as compensation. If the amount is not repaid, then it will be charged from the honorarium.
