THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Four people have been taken into custody with 100 grams of MDMA from a rented house. Ashkar of Panur in Kannur, Muhammed Sharon of Akkulam in Thiruvananthapuram, Seena of Attingal and Fahadh of Koduvally in Kozhikode are those taken into custody.

The police had the other day obtained information that drugs were brought to Aakkulam from Bengaluru. The police team seized MDMA in a search conducted at the rented house near NISH in Aakkulam. The three who were in the rented house have been taken into custody. On the basis of questioning them, Sharon was taken into custody from another house in Aakkulam.

The police said Ashkar, the first accused in the case, came with a pregnant woman and took the house for rent in Aakkulam. The police had received information earlier that he had sold drugs while staying in Thumba. Though the police had searched his house, no evidence was obtained. Following this, Ashkar had created a big problem demanding an apology from the police.
