NEW DELHI: A Go First car stopped just before the nose wheel of the Indigo aircraft VT-ITJ that was parked at Terminal T-2 IGI airport here.

The Maruti vehicle narrowly avoided a collision with the plane's nose wheel. This was a Delhi-Patna Indigo flight 6E-2022.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered an inquiry into the incident.

A video of the incident has surfaced on social media, in which the car can be seen just under the aircraft.

The car belonging to Go First Airline went under the plane as it was getting prepared to take off for Patna on Tuesday morning.

The driver underwent a breath analyser test to check if he had consumed alcohol, but it was found to be negative. "There was no damage to the aircraft or injury to any person.", DGCA further said.

The aircraft departed as per the scheduled time. Further probe is being carried out by DAS-NR.
